Dr. Tyler Sauerbeck is a general surgeon with comprehensive training in both open and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He completed his general surgery residency at Corewell Health in Farmington Hills, Michigan after earlier residency training at Rowan University in Stratford, New Jersey
Dr. Sauerbeck earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. His osteopathic and Jesuit backgrounds emphasizes a whole-person approach to care, focusing not only on surgical excellence but also on patient education, prevention, and recovery.
He is certified in Intuitive Da Vinci robotic surgical operating systems, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric and holds Fundamentals of Endoscopic Surgery (FES/FLS) certification through the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES)
